A mobile app, a clue and 250 people involved to find the whereabouts of Isabel del Castillo.
Isabel del Castillo, 57, who suffers Alzheimer’s disease, went out of her home on August 19th. Her family is untiringly looking for her since.
Last Tuesday, the Civil Guard organised a massive search, carried out by land and air. This search was driven by two starting points: the last photo of the missing person and the pioneering use of a new app which will revolutionise this kind of searches.
The Civil Guard had already combed Navalcarnero and some other adjacent areas last weekend. Once the idea of an enforced or voluntary disappearance was ruled out, the Civil Guard has coordinated a heavy search operation starting at 09:00 am. Nearly 250 people have participated in it, including: 120 close relatives and volunteers, forestry agents, local Navalcarnero police officers, Civil Defense volunteers and Civil Guard officers.
